The role of the 4-H Food Stand Coordinator is to oversee all aspects of the 4-H food stand at the Columbia County Fair, providing guidance to the 4-H Food Stand Shift Supervisors who help run the food stand, and ensuring that all workers and volunteers are following ServSafe Guidelines and licensing requirements. This is a temporary position from March 1, 2025 – August 31, 2025 and includes pre-fair planning and meetings, food stand management during the fair, post-fair closing, and follow-up meeting with the Food Stand Committee in August.

Responsibilities include:
Order food and supplies with support from the UW Extension 4-H staff.
Collaborate with the 4-H Food Stand Committee to request donations from local vendors and facilitate delivery or pick-up.
Keep detailed and accurate records of purchases, sales, and inventory.
Assist in hiring and training Food Stand Shift Supervisors.
Work directly with Shift Supervisors in supporting 4-H members and volunteers during fair week.

Qualifications-
Must complete 4-H Volunteer Training and Background Check
Must obtain ServSafe Certification (paid by the Columbia County 4-H Leaders Association)
Additional Information-
Stipend of $1000 is payable upon successful completion of the contract.
